Within the City's boundries, two excellent school systems offer academic and techonology training that prepares young people for both college and the workforce: Buckeye Local Schools and the Medina County Career Center. St. Francis Xavier and Medina Christian Academy offer private schooling for elementary and junior high students.
Advanced education is readily available from numerous colleges and universities in the surrounding area that offer certificate, undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Medina County University Center is a quarter-mile south of the city.
